As part of the Rock 'n' Roll themed Woombye Happy Days event, we are proud to be providing FREE dance workshops. Workshops will run between 3pm and 5pm covering the essentials in each of our lesson styles. Location? Where we run our lessons - but in the big hall! The Woombye School of Arts: 1/3 Hill St, Woombye ;)

Most attractions and activities will be FREE for the community!

The only ticketed portion of the day is the dinner/dance and bands in the Main Hall from 6pm. This is to help fund future events and in recognition of seating limits.

Tickets may be collected from the Information Desk on the day. If having booked online, please quote your name, email, and contact phone number (or present proof of payment notification).

Two of the best dance bands on the Sunshine Coast will be rockin' the 50s & 60s retro styled tunes for the evening. Combined with additional music about town during the day the vibe is set to be awesome... Come to listen, come to dance, or just come along to see the show!

A great band rockin' local venues such as Rick's Garage & Hell Town Hot Rods. We caught them at Rick's and thought they were fantastic!

Great Food!

A great day out needs good food to keep you going! Local vendors will be bringing the classic 50s/60s diner food for the event. Hamburgers, Hot Dogs, Pizzas... put the diet aside for one day ;)

 

Mr Whippy! Ice-Cream

Remember the days when the ice-cream truck used to go along your street with all  the kids (and adults) chasing it? Let your big kid out and and enjoy reliving those childhood memories!

 

All Fired Up! Pizza

Wood fired pizza specialists! Get your pizza just outside the WSOA Main Hall during the dance or as your checking out the classic cars. Tell me - who doesn't like pizza?! 

 

Woomybe School of Arts - Snacks & Drinks

Soft-drinks and a variety of snacks will be available from inside the Main Hall. So if you need that little bit extra to keep your dance feet moving, help support the event and get your top-up!

Dinner Deals

Get a great deal from one of our fantastic local food vendors on the day - only an extra $20 on your dance ticket for up to $27 in value! Be sure to cash in your dinner ticket before 7pm though to avoid missing out once the kitchens close ;)
